Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) has emerged as an effective methodology for integrated engineering design aiming to improve existing or develop new device/product or process. When properly implemented MDO can significantly improve overall design process, and therefore can give significant savings in time, cost, and required resources. This approach is used in many industries, however, it seems to be very attractive for aerospace and automotive industries due to high-level requirements such as weight, size, manufacturing costs, and performance. We offer highly specialized knowledge and experience in the optimization methods listed below:
- Direct and gradient-based methods;
- Design of experiments methodologies and response surface methods;
- Multi-objective multi-constraint optimization using genetic algorithms.
These advanced capabilities are developed based on the ODYSSEE software, and in-house tools.
