CFD Flow services

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has become an effective tool for the study of the fluid-flow field and heat transfer in different types of flow systems. Therefore CFD can be used successfully to support understanding of complex physical phenomena associated with fluid dynamics. Hence, it is widely used in design search and optimisation aiming to improve existing devices/systems or to develop new ones. We offer highly specialized knowledge and experience in the field of computational fluid dynamics, and our CFD capabilities are listed below:

  • Basic steady and unsteady flows;
  • RANS/URANS turbomachinery flows, using typical turbulence models such as, e.g. Spalart-Allmaras, k-ε, and others;
  • RANS/LES computations of complex geometry and jet flows;
  • Heat transfer analysis.

These advanced capabilities are developed based on the MSC Cradle software.
